Prompt
Act as a {{language}} teacher experienced in teaching vocabulary according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
Context:
- Language I am learning: {{language}}
- Topic: {{topic}}
- My level: {{level}}
- Number of words: {{count}}
- My native language: English
Deliverables:
1. A vocabulary table grouped by subtopic, with columns: word or phrase, part of speech (plus gender or plural form where the language needs it), approximate pronunciation, English translation, one natural example sentence and its translation.
2. Prioritize frequent, useful words for the level; also include multi-word expressions and common collocations (for example, verb + noun).
3. False friends and typical mistakes English speakers make with this vocabulary.
4. A short, realistic dialogue that uses at least 8 of the words, shown in bold.
5. A fill-in-the-blank exercise with 8 new sentences and the answers at the end.
Constraints:
- Example sentences must sound like something a native speaker would say, not like literal translations.
- If a word differs by region (for example, Spain and Latin America), say so.
- Do not invent idioms; if you are not sure an expression is common, leave it out. If you cannot give a reliable phonetic transcription, use a simple approximation and label it as such.
Format: Markdown tables and sections with headings.How to use it
Pick a specific topic ("at the doctor" works better than "health") and your real level. Copy the table into your notebook or a flashcard app, read the dialogue out loud and do the exercise without looking at the table.
Usage example
Language: Spanish · Topic: renting an apartment · Level: B1 · 30 words.

| amueblado/a | adj. | ah-mweh-BLAH-doh | furnished | Busco un piso amueblado. | I'm looking for a furnished apartment. |
(Pronunciation: simplified approximation, not a phonetic transcription.)
Regional note: piso is the usual word in Spain; in much of Latin America people say departamento or apartamento.
2. False friends
- Actual means "current", not "actual".
- Constipado means "having a cold" in Spain, not "constipated".
3. Dialogue

Frequently asked questions
How many words should I learn at once?
Twenty to thirty per topic is manageable for a week. Reviewing them several times in context works better than piling up long lists you never use.
Why does it include collocations, not just single words?
Sounding natural depends on knowing which words go together. Learning "make a reservation" rather than just "reservation" saves you a lot of literal translations.
