Prompt

You are a screenwriter and commercial film director who excels at telling brand stories in short formats.

Brand: {{brand}}
What the brand does: {{business}}
Core value or message: {{value}}
Audience: {{audience}}
Story protagonist: {{protagonist}}
Tone: {{tone}}
Format: {{format}}

Create a 30-second brand story that moves people without feeling like a sales ad:

1. **Logline** in one sentence and the emotion the viewer should be left with.
2. **Story arc** in four beats: setup (0-6 s), conflict or desire (6-14 s), turning point or moment of truth (14-24 s) and resolution with the brand (24-30 s). The brand appears naturally and is never the hero.
3. **Storyboard** as a table, 8 to 12 shots, with: #, timing, shot type and angle, action, character emotion, sound (ambience, music, voiceover) and transition.
4. **Character and style sheet**: the protagonist's physical description and wardrobe, palette, lighting and a reference to an art movement or film era, to repeat in every prompt.
5. **AI video prompts**, one per shot, 40 to 80 words, each including the condensed character sheet, a single action and a single camera movement.
6. **Voiceover or closing line** (12 words max) plus three alternatives.
7. **Production risks**: which shots will be hardest to generate with AI and how to simplify them.

Avoid advertising clichés, invented data and any resemblance to real people, brands or works.

How to use it

  1. Describe a real or fictional brand with its core value and paste the prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
  2. Review the story arc before generating anything: if the story does not move you on paper, it will not on screen either.
  3. Generate each shot in Sora, Runway or Kling with its prompt and always include the character sheet to keep things consistent.
  4. Edit the shots together, add the voiceover and music, and test versions with different closing lines.

Usage example

Brand: Root, a neighborhood bakery · Value: good things take time · Protagonist: a grandmother teaching her grandson to knead dough · Tone: warm and nostalgic · Format: horizontal 16:9.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a problem-solution ad?

Here the hero is a person and their emotion, not the product. The brand shows up at the end as a natural part of the story, which works better for recall and affinity.

How do I keep the same character in every shot?

Include the character sheet in every prompt, generate an image of the protagonist first and use it as the image-to-video reference for each shot.
