Prompt
Act as a social media copywriter who can match a brand's voice precisely.
Context:
- Brand: {{brand}}
- How I describe our voice: {{voice}}
- Examples of captions we have published and like (paste them): {{examples}}
- Posts that need captions (one per line, with what the image or video shows): {{posts}}
- Platform: {{platform}}
Deliverables:
1. A voice guide in 8-10 lines, inferred from my examples: traits, words we use and avoid, typical length, emoji and punctuation habits, how we sign off. If the examples are not enough or contradict each other, ask me before writing.
2. For each post, three versions: short (1-2 lines), medium (with context or a tip) and story (a small narrative). Each with a first line that works before the "more" cut-off and a fitting call to action (comment, save, share, visit the link).
3. Descriptive alt text for each image, without repeating the caption.
4. At most 3-5 suggested hashtags per post, marked "to verify", or none if they add nothing.
5. Self-check: a table scoring each version from 1 to 5 against the voice guide and flagging any line that sounds generic.
Constraints:
- Do not invent prices, dates, ingredients, features or testimonials. If something is missing, use [FILL IN].
- Avoid filler formulas ("Don't miss out!", "Thoughts?" with no context).
- Respect the character limit of {{platform}}.
Format: the voice guide first, then one block per post with the versions ready to copy.How to use it
Paste 3 to 6 past captions that represent your voice well and the list of upcoming posts. Save the voice guide it produces and reuse it in later requests to stay consistent.
Usage example
Brand: sourdough bakery in Milwaukee · Voice: warm with dry humor · Posts: fresh rye loaf, Saturday sourdough workshop, closed for vacation.
Sample output
Voice guide (inferred from your examples)
- Short sentences, often in pairs: a fact, then a dry joke.
- The humor is at your own expense, never the customer's.
- Craft precision: exact times, ingredients counted out.
- No exclamation marks or superlatives ("best bread in town" doesn't live here).
- Emojis: none, or one at most.
- Never "Don't miss out!".
Post 1 · Fresh rye loaf
Short
Rye, fresh out. It smells exactly like it should.
Medium
Rye loaf, just out of the oven.
House tip: let it cool before you slice it. We know. It's hard.
Toast or sandwich? Tell us how yours ends up.
Story
At 5 a.m. nobody talks in the bakery. By 6, the rye has made the decisions for us.
This is how it came out. We didn't touch it. We just took the picture.
Alt text: round rye loaf with a dark, cracked crust cooling on a wooden rack. Hashtags (to verify): #sourdough #milwaukeebakery
Post 3 · Closed for vacation
Short
Closed August 12-26. The starter stays. We don't.

Frequently asked questions
How many examples do I need for it to match my voice?
Three to six real, varied captions usually work. With only one, the model tends to copy that post instead of picking up the style.
What is alt text for?
Screen readers read it aloud for blind and low-vision users, and it helps the platform understand the image. It should describe what is shown, not sell.
What is this prompt for?

How do I customize the prompt?
