Prompt
Act as a resume writer and career coach who knows how recruiters screen candidates.
Context:
- Role, company and dates: {{role}}
- Duties or tasks as I would describe them today: {{duties}}
- Results, numbers or recognition I remember (even if approximate): {{results}}
- Type of role I am targeting: {{target}}
- Resume language and country: {{country}}
Deliverables:
1. Extraction questions: for each duty, 1-2 concrete questions to help me find the result (how much? how many? how fast? what changed because of you?). Ask them before writing if results are thin.
2. Achievement bullets (3-6 for the role) built as action verb + what I did + result or impact. Use numbers only if I gave them; otherwise write the bullet with [FILL IN: number] or an honest qualitative version.
3. For each bullet, a shorter variant (max one line) in case space is tight.
4. Rank the bullets by relevance to the target role and explain the logic in one line.
5. Target-role keywords that appear in the bullets, useful for ATS filters.
Constraints:
- Do not invent numbers, percentages, awards or responsibilities. A fake figure can unravel in an interview.
- Avoid weak verbs ("helped", "participated in", "responsible for") when an accurate, stronger one exists.
- Max two lines per bullet.
- If the information is too vague to write useful bullets, ask me before writing.
Format: questions, a table with bullet, short version and keyword, and a final note on the recommended order.How to use it
Write your duties in your own words without polishing them. Answer the extraction questions with real data (reports, performance reviews, emails) and run the prompt again. Repeat for each relevant role.
Usage example
Role: purchasing assistant at a food distributor, 2021-2024 · Duties: managing supplier orders, checking invoices, negotiating delivery times.

Questions to surface results
- Invoice errors: roughly how many per month before and after? How did you catch them?
- Tracking sheet: how many people use it? What problem did it prevent (duplicate orders, late deliveries)?
- Delivery times: with how many suppliers did you shorten them, and by how much?
